Dusseldorf

Today i went to Dusseldorf, the weather reports before hand were not very good. A lot of rain and some snow was predicted.
All in all the weather was pretty good , mostly sunny in the morning with some rain in the afternoon.

Dusseldorf as always was busy with shoppers. Something you can do very well. We spent some time around Koningsallee and aldstadt.
As always the food was very good and we just relaxed and walked around.

I got my Starbucks City mug for the collection All in all a very good day indeed.

The creator of the Sherman Filterbank has come up with a new product called the Restyler.
It's a product for Dj's who like to change their sounds. I hope it will be less expensive than the
Filterbank. And it's a nice small unit. I think it's also a nice addition to spice up my beats

Thanks to an Apple Mini

My studio is up and running again It has been a long time since i last made some noise.
And now i got everything working again. all my favorite software has been installed.

So now i can spend my relaxation time making new music. That makes me really happy !

It can be downloaded for free or you can buy the DVD , it has been released last year.

Time

I really need to relax a bit more, work and studying are taking up most of my time at the moment.
Making new music is something i haven't done in ages. In fact since i moved to my new appartment my equipment is still disconnected.

I think i will plan a few days off and finish some school stuff and to find some time to relax.
And get my gear connected.

A history told from the inside by Cle "Bone" Sloan a former member of the bloods.

I haven't found it on dvd yet. A very good film indeed.

Real life Yuri Orlov arrested

I really liked the movie "Lord of war" which stars Nicolas Cage as Yuri Orlov, an arms dealer who's only goal is money.
The movie is based on the life of Viktor Bout. Who was in the USSR Army until the USSR collapsed.

today i read about his arrest in Thailand yesterday. He was wanted by almost everyone.
While surfing around on the internet i found an old article in the new york times about him.

A pretty interesting read. Funny how people can get away with it for such a long time.

The Wire - Almost over

The Wire's fifth season is nearing it's end. Which is a shame really. This series is one of the most underestimated tv drama's ever.
For some reason it has never been picked up by a large audiance.

To me this is very strange, while verybody was watching The Sopranos, another great tv show, everybody seem to forget the Wire.
A brilliant show with excellent acting and good character building.

Also the different angles in a case makes it very interesting, in a season you'll see the influence of politics , the cops and the criminals on the outcome and
all the dirt they pull along the way to get what they want.

So if you haven't seen the show yet be sure to pick it up on DVD. It's well worth the effort

Next week the last show ever will be aired. Another great serie ends.
