Record collection and Reason 4

Now that i have some time on my hands i am currently adding all my records to a new database. The old one was very out of date and missed a few essential options.
Also i was updating my wish list, so the search is on
Another thing i managed to do is install the new Reason which i received. Then i discovered the new Thor syntheziser and well that was it
It's a very cool upgrade indeed. I need to discover the rest of the new features in the next few days.
Reason remains my favourite music tool. Very good work Propellerheads!
Carl Craig - Wrap me in it's arms (new age pimp mix)

Well i am still looking for this track on Vinyl. But it's on youtube now, so that's cool
Blue note trip - Jazzanova

I just got out of the city doing some shopping and as always i can't resist a recordstore. I bought a Jazz LP from the blue note label. Relaxing music

Reason 4.0 update

I just bought the update for Reason 4.0 , i have had Reason since version 2 and it is my favorite piece of music software. The new Thor synth and new options in the sequencer look very good.
Recently i got more time to spend on music. Which is good

Vinyl

This weekend is a good weekend for some good old record hunting. I will visit my favorite record stores and buy some records. A lot of people seem to think that vinyl is dead. Well maybe so but not to me. I have always preferred records above cd's and/or mp3's.
Personally i think the market for vinyl is growing quite a bit. A lot of people know with a record collection are starting to buy records again.
I hope more people will realize the value of records and start buying them.
Let's hope for a good score this weekend
The final days of full circle records

A Documentary i found via Wire to the ear , it's about a record store that is closing. "The Final Days Of Full Circle Records - A Documentary By Michael Greene. In October of 2006, a small mom and pop record store in Southern New Jersey named Full Circle Records announced that it was going out of business and that the liquidation sale would continue until mid December. Ironically, at approximately the same time, Tower Records, the iconic juggernaut of the music retail market, made the same announcement. Something has happened to the music retail world and it seemed to have happened overnight. ...Or did it? The Final Days Of Full Circle Records is a fascinating documentary that provides valuable insight into the rise and fall of the record store industry and subculture which may change the way you think about music, music retail, and the art of collecting music forever."
