the digital disaster

As you might know , I am a big fan of the good old vinyl . I like the format, the feel the artwork, the search. Well basically everything about it.
More and more people I know have a or are starting a record collection.

I just read this article by Michael Fremer about the sound of cd's. I am not one to bash cd's and or MP3's since every format has it's good sides but this is fun to read.
Ten Years Into The Digital Revolution: A Continuing Disaster in Sound

Well I would like to say start buying vinyl :-) It's simply more fun.

Browsing and music

Being a bit under the weather has it's advantages. Can't concentrate on anything really so I started surfing for some live mixes.
Found some cool old livesets from Jazzy Jeff, Carl Craig and some more.

I also took the time to check some of my loops, which eventually have to develop into full length tracks. The only question is. How?
I am not very good in making songs, with a beginning and an end and all that. Short loops and sounds is mostly my thing ;-)

Maybe someone out there has tips and tricks.
